Welcome to the Bicheno Golf Club website. The club is located on the sunny east coast of Tasmania about 5km north of the town of Bicheno.
The course currently consists of 9 holes and 18 tees both the course and greens are fully irrigated to provide excellent playing conditions all year 'round.
We have a fully equipped clubhouse and the course is open 7 days a week for play. The clubhouse is open with full bar facilities every week on Wednesday 2.00 - 5.00pm, Friday 2.00 - 6.30pm & Saturday 2.00 - 5.00pm.
On other days there is an honour system located in the foyer for green fee payment. This can be either by using our Vedi Tap and Pay electronic terminal or by depositing cash in an envelope which is then placed in a mailbox in the rear wall of the foyer.
Competition days are as follows:-
SATURDAYS mixed competition. (open to Members and Visitors)
WEDNESDAYS and FRIDAYS there is a 9 hole Chicken Run, which is open to all. (noting Wednesdays hit off on the front 9, and Fridays alternating one week on the front 9 and the next week on the back 9).
Free pull buggies are available for use under the front deck any day of the week. Clubs are also available for hire from the Bicheno newsagancy.
Golf Cart hire is also available when the club is OPEN. Cart hire is $30.00
Visitor green fees are $30 per day or $100 per week - Unlimited holes as from the 1st July 2025.

Chicken Run - Wednesday & Friday – Members $5.00 Non Members $10.00 (if playing with a BGC member)
All holders of a Golf Link Number are very welcome to play in our Saturday Competitions.
Senior membership renewal is currently available. Senior fees for the 2025/26 financial year are $440.00 per year. There are no associate memberships - both ladies and men have equal rights.
Social membership is $25.00 per year. Junior membership is $50.00 per year.

Men play off Blue and White markers and Women play off the Red markers for both the front and back nine.
Front Nine
Hole 1: Par 4 - Men 373 metres - Par 4 - Women 285 metres
Slight rise to the 150 metre marker, right side of fairway is best option off tee.
Hole 2: Par 4 - Men 315 metres - Par 4 - Women 267 metres
Tree lined on left hand side of fairway, avoid trees on right side 100 metres from green.
Hole 3: Par 4 - Men 352 metres - Par 4 - Women 333 metres
Dog leg left, risk reward on second shot over trees, or play safe to corner of dog leg.
Hole 4: Par 3 - Men 195 metres - Par 3 - Women 162 metres
Long shot to a postage size green, this could be rated as the toughest par 3 on the East Coast.
Hole 5: Par 4 - Men 344 metres - Par 4 - Women 319 metres
Slight left to right shape fairway, avoid large pine trees on right side near green.
Hole 6: Par 3 - Men 160 metres - Par 3 - Women 127 metres
Plays longer than suggests to a small green.
Hole 7: Par 5 - Men 425 metres - Par 5 - Women 409 metres
Dog leg left, right to left shot off tee to corner of dog leg may allow long hitters to reach green with second shot.
Hole 8: Par 4 - Men 339 metres - Par 4 - Women 299 metres
Tree lined both sides of fairway, a straight drive is required off tee.
Hole 9: Par 5 - Men 440 metres - Par 5 - Women 384 metres
Slight dog leg left, good drive to corner, avoid O/B on left side, allow extra metres to second shot as a slight rise to green.
Back Nine
Hole 10: Par 4 - Men 352 metres - Par 4 Women 341 metres
Slight rise to the 150 metre marker, right side of fairway is best option off tee.
Hole 11: Par 4 - Men 327 metres - Par 4 Women 277 metres
Tree lined on left hand side of fairway, avoid trees on right side 100 metres from green.
